Welcome to Our Website!

Hello and welcome to Hemlock Siamese and Orientals, my name is Janet Brownrigg and breeding and showing Siamese and Oriental cats & kittens has been a hobby and an "addiction" of mine for more years than I care to remember! Finally, with the help of a dear friend of mine - Fran Armitage of Chapelrose Siamese & Orientals and her very talented son, Tom, we are able to introduce you to ourselves and some of the Hemlock clan via our exciting new website. It is designed to be a mythical and magical style website as my cats remind me of elves in both their looks and definitely their characters and I love anything connected with fairies, dragons, pixies etc so we hope you like it!

If you are interested in Siamese and / or Orientals or are considering a kitten then I will try and give you some idea of what you may be letting yourself in for! Be warned, you may become "hooked" if you are not already; they are just about the most extrovert breed of cat I have ever come across. Bold, super affectionate, intelligent, very talkative and are buddies for life. I often think that they consider themselves to be people (in fact I quite often describe them as little furry people!) not cats and they certainly expect to be treated at least on a par although 9 times out of 10 their owners end up as doting slaves.
