Where We Live

Originally based in Manchester, we decided after much debate to move to a beautiful little village on the Llyn Penninsula in Gwynedd, North Wales where I would also be closer to my mum! It was at the time a major and life changing decision but since we have been here since 2002, surrounded by open countryside, mountains and picturesque beaches and coves on all sides we have never looked back.

One of the reasons for our move was not only to give ourselves more open space and fresh air as well as a calmer pace of life but also to give the cats the same benefits. Indeed, since we moved here with our 2 children our "extended family" has grown considerably! Our home (after much renovation which is still, in part, ongoing!) and surrounding gardens and paddocks afford us all plenty of room indoors and out.

Our two dogs charge around to their hearts content and our cats live both in and outdoors spending most of their outdoor time sunbathing or playing in the spacious pens my very talented joiner hubby has made for them, where they have trees to climb and heated insulated houses to snuggle up and chill in when the mood takes them and I know that they are safe . In addition the cats are able to explore the garden and paddocks when I am around to keep a watchful eye on them, usually when I am gardening, and again I can ensure that they are safe. Our other "family members" include our ducks and chickens and a pond full of carp who have moved house with us 2 to 3 times now and are reaching huge proportions in the large pond we built for them-even some of them have names, I know, we are potty!

Most of the potential owners who come to visit and have a look at our kittens and cats do tend to spend at least the day here on the Llyn Penninsula exploring some of the surrounding countryside and coastline and some have actually collected their kitten whilst on holiday and even bring them back to visit when they are next in the area!

In the future we are hoping to be able to perhaps accommodate guests here ourselves albeit there is a fair amount of work to be finished first...
